K & P, was created in May 2003, when a need was felt to provide higher level strategic consultancy services in various development and policy making sectors . The firm has already a proven record of accomplishment in various fields of development & institutional planning. The UN, the World Bank, GTZ, Swiss International Cooperation, IUCN and World Vision have remained clients. In Aug 2004, the advisory services of the firm were hired by the IOM/UNAMA for the out of country Afghan presidential elections.

The firm has the core expertise of its senior partner Khalid Aziz, with vast experience of development and institution building in various sectors. The firm's main focus of activity is centered on poverty, human rights, environment, education, health, gender issues and governance. It helps in the development of institutions and capacities. By concentrating on the environment sector, it aims to assist in the protection of natural resources and to alleviate poverty through sustainable development based on community initiatives.
